Langtang Gosaikunda Helambu Trek is a famous trek of Nepal. In this trek, Himalayan Joy Adventure combines three major attractions of the Himalayan region lying just north of Kathmandu. The trek combines the beautiful Langtang Valley and the holy Gosaikunda Lake to the culturally-rich Helambu region.

You get the chance to witness Langtang Lirung and some other beautiful mountains so closely. You will explore the amazing Himalayan region of Nepal and delve into the Tibetan-influenced diverse culture and traditions of locals.

You will also visit the holy lake of Gosaikunda where thousands of Hindu and Buddhist devotees go every year. Gosaikunda lures most of its visitors in the full moon day of August. Similarly, you explore the Helambu Region of Nepal where you can experience a unique and amazing culture and tradition of locals.

Your Langtang Gosaikunda Helambu Trek with Himalayan Joy Adventure begins from Kathmandu. After spending the second day of your trip on sightseeing Kathmandu, you travel to Syabrubesi - the trailhead of your trek by bus.

On the third day of your trek days, you reach Langtang Village and Kyanjin Gompa. You will then spend a day exploring the area and then retrace your path to Bamboo, a place a few hours away from Syabrubesi. Instead of Syabrubesi, you trek towards Thulo Syabru and reach to Gosaikunda after two more trekking days.

From Gosaikunda, you trek further south for three days to arrive at Helambu. On the way, you cross the 4600-meter Laurebina Pass. After exploring the Helambu region, you trek for two days and then drive to Kathmandu. The overall trek takes 17 days; but remember, the trek can be customized as per your need and preference. Gosaikunda Helambu Trekking

Rating:

“Cholendra was the best tour guide, always there to help with everything you needed, both while trekking and at the guest houses. He is very caring, careful, knowledgeable and has a great sense of humour. The bad thing about him is he makes you feel so unfit! He was jumping like a mountain goat from rock to rock while I was just trying to get myself slowly to the next stop! If you are planning a trek Nepal he is the man to see.”

Trip Note

ECO-FRIENDLY

Every day the world is facing a big issue of environmental pollution and in Nepal as well. Our field staffs are quite conscious about environmental pollution at any time and we encourage to all. We would suggest to our guest to use boiled water or water purification pills than buying a bottle of water, it helps to avoid plastic bottles which can takes long time to disappear. During the trek, if possible you can order same items food in a group which minimizes the fuel used and to make campfire is almost forbidden. We would encourage being a responsible traveler so, just leaving foot-print on the trail and bring out all non-biodegradable which you had.

Himalayan Joy Adventures is committed to helping to improve, protect and preserve the natural and cultural beauty of the Himalayan mountain range and Nepal. Join us.
