Welcome to Nepal. When you arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport, our Himalayan Joy Adventure representative will greet you and assist you with the transfer to your hotel. After checking in, you can rest, refresh, or take a short walk around the nearby streets to get your first feel of Kathmandu.

In the evening, we will meet for a brief introduction to the trek. This gives you a simple overview of the route, daily walking hours, and what to expect in the Khumbu region. We end the day with a welcome dinner at a traditional Nepali restaurant.
