After breakfast, you leave Pokhara and take a short drive toward Nayapul. The road passes through small settlements and terraced farmlands, giving you a gentle start to your trekking day. The drive usually takes about one and a half hours.

Once you reach Nayapul, your walking journey begins. The first part of the trail follows a wide dirt road where you pass local shops, small tea houses, and friendly villagers going about their daily routine. After some time, the path becomes narrower and the surroundings turn quieter, with the sound of the river beside you.

The walk to Tikhedhunga is easy for most trekkers. You follow a steady trail through rice fields and small villages, stopping for lunch along the way. By late afternoon, you reach Tikhedhunga, a peaceful riverside village with a few cozy lodges. The sound of the waterfall nearby gives the place a calm and refreshing feel.

You can rest, enjoy a warm meal, and relax for the evening before the next day’s climb to Ghorepani.

Day Overview:

  • Max. Altitude: 1400 m
  • Duration: Around 5 to 6 hours
  • Accommodation: Lodge in Tikhedhunga
  • Meals: Breakfast | Lunch | Dinner

Today begins with a steady climb that takes you up through terraced farms and traditional Gurung homes. The first section includes the well-known stone steps of Ulleri. It can feel challenging, but you can take your time and enjoy the steady pace. As you climb higher, the views become wider and the air feels fresher.

From Ulleri, the trail continues through peaceful forests filled with oak and rhododendron trees. This part of the walk is very pleasant, especially in spring when the rhododendrons bloom and the entire forest turns colorful. You stop for lunch in Banthanti or Nangethati, depending on the pace of the group.

After lunch, the last part of the walk continues through shaded forest trails until you reach Ghorepani. This beautiful village sits on a ridge and offers wide mountain views. From different corners of the village, you can see the Dhaulagiri and Annapurna ranges standing tall above the hills.

Ghorepani has warm lodges, friendly hosts, and a nice atmosphere, making it a great place to rest before the sunrise hike to Poon Hill the next morning.

Day Overview:

  • Max. Altitude: 2800m
  • Duration: Around 6 to 7 hours
  • Accommodation: Lodge in Ghorepani
  • Meals: Breakfast | Lunch | Dinner

You start the day early, before sunrise, with a short uphill walk toward Poon Hill. The trail is steady and easy to follow, and you will see small groups of trekkers moving up quietly with the same purpose. When you reach the top, the viewpoint opens into a wide 360-degree panorama. As the first light touches the peaks of Dhaulagiri, Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, and Machhapuchhre, the whole horizon becomes bright and golden. It is one of the most memorable highlights of this trek.

After spending some time enjoying the views and taking photos, you return to Ghorepani for breakfast. The trail then continues toward Deurali. This part of the walk is peaceful, passing through forests and small clearings with occasional mountain views. If you are trekking in spring, the rhododendron blossoms make the whole route feel colorful and lively.

You stop for lunch at Banthanti. After lunch, the trail slowly descends toward the village of Tadapani. The forest here is dense and beautiful, with the sound of small streams flowing down the hillside. When you arrive in Tadapani, you are welcomed by a quiet setting and a clear view of Annapurna South and Machhapuchhre right in front of the village.

It is a relaxing place to end the day after a rewarding morning at Poon Hill.

Day Overview:

  • Max. Altitude: 2600m
  • Duration: Around 7 hours including the sunrise hike
  • Accommodation: Lodge in Tadapani
  • Meals: Breakfast | Lunch | Dinner

Today is a shorter and easier day, giving you more time to enjoy the surroundings. After breakfast, you leave Tadapani and follow a pleasant forest trail that descends slowly through tall trees, moss-covered stones, and small streams. This part of the walk feels quiet and refreshing, especially in the early morning.

As you continue the descent, the forest begins to open and the first rooftops of Ghandruk come into view. The final section of the trail takes you through terraced farmlands and small stone pathways lined with traditional houses.

Ghandruk is one of the most beautiful Gurung villages in the Annapurna region. It has a mix of old stone homes, small museums, monasteries, and viewpoints with excellent mountain scenery. Once you arrive, you can walk around the village, visit the local museum, or simply sit outside your lodge and enjoy the peaceful countryside atmosphere.

Since the walking time is short, this is a nice day to rest and observe village life at a relaxed pace.

Day Overview:

  • Max. Altitude: 1900m
  • Duration: Around 3 hours
  • Accommodation: Lodge in Ghandruk
  • Meals: Breakfast | Lunch | Dinner

The trail from Ghandruk to Nayapul is pleasant and mostly downhill. You follow stone steps and small pathways that pass through traditional houses, rice terraces, and small villages like Kimche and Chane. The walk is relaxed, and you will see local villagers working in the fields or carrying goods along the trail. This path is shared by trekkers heading toward Annapurna Base Camp, so you may meet other hikers along the way.

As you descend lower, the air becomes warmer and the landscape changes from forest to farmland. Soon, you reach Syauli Bazar, where the Modi Khola river flows quietly beside the trail. From here, it is an easy walk to Birethanti and finally to Nayapul, where the trek officially ends.

A vehicle will be waiting for you for the short drive back to Pokhara. Once you arrive, you can check into your hotel, take a shower, and enjoy a comfortable evening around Lakeside.

Day Overview:

  • Max. Altitude: 850m
  • Duration: Around 4 hours of walking
  • Accommodation: Hotel in Pokhara
  • Meals: Breakfast | Lunch | Dinner

The ride is calm and gives you time to rest after completing your trek. There are tea stops along the way where you can stretch, have a light snack, or enjoy a cup of Nepali tea.

When you reach Kathmandu, you are transferred to your hotel. You can take the afternoon to relax, explore the nearby markets, or visit Thamel for souvenir shopping. Many trekkers enjoy buying pashmina shawls, handmade crafts, Nepali tea, or small wooden items as reminders of their trip.

In the evening, our team invites you for a simple farewell dinner. It is a nice moment to reflect on the journey and share your experience before your departure.
