Lukla flight redirect from March 2024

Lukla flight will be redirected from March 2024. During the peak trekking months (March, April, May, October, and November), flights from Kathmandu to Lukla might be redirected to Manthali-Lukla due to congestion at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA). The journey to Manthali takes approximately five hours by car or jeep, so, you should leave from hotel around 1:00 am. From there, we'll drive you to Manthali Airport for a brief 20-minute flight to Lukla.

In the off-peak seasons (January, February, June, July, August, September, and December), you can opt for a direct 35-minute flight from Kathmandu to Lukla. so, you should leave the hotel around 5:30 am to get on time at TIA for the morning flight to Lukla.
