Annapurna Circuit Trek is the second most popular trek in Annapurna Region after Annapurna Base Camp Trek. Every year, the trek attracts more than 50,000 trekkers. The breathtaking views of Annapurna peaks, Machhapuchhre, Lamjung Kailash, Nilgiri and the wide varieties of landscapes are the luring factors of this trek. Thorong La Pass, the highest point of the trek is another highlight of this 15 Days Annapurna Circuit Trek.
The trails can be easily recognized. The well-trodden trails pass through countless streams, rhododendron forests, and small settlements. Throughout the trek, you will witness the beautiful mountain peaks.
Annapurna Circuit Trek is not just about witnessing majestic mountain peaks. It’s also about walking through beautiful villages, staying in beautiful tea houses and making a lot of local and trekker friends. You will meet the sweetest people and receive the warm welcome everywhere you go.
We, at Himalayan Joy Adventure, offer 15 days Annapurna Circuit Trek. The trip begins from Kathmandu. After spending two nights in Kathmandu, you travel to Besisahar on the third day. You then travel to Jagat by a jeep and spend the night there. From the fourth day of your trip, the Annapurna round trek begins. You walk for four days crossing beautiful villages of Dharapani, Chame, and Pisang to reach Manang.
After spending a day for acclimatization in Manang, you trek for two days to reach the base of Thorong La Pass. The next day, you will experience the toughest day of the trek crossing Thorong La Pass and descending down to restricted Mustang Region.

After spending a lively evening there, you will travel back to Kathmandu the next day. In Kathmandu, we will give you a farewell dinner and transfer you to the airport on the 15th day.
Autumn and Spring are the best seasons for Annapurna Circuit Trek. During the Autumn (September - October - November), the rain will have just stopped. The skies are clear and the views are amazing in this season.
Likewise, Spring from mid-February to April is also an ideal season for Annapurna Circuit Trek. The vibrant rhododendrons make forests bloom red creating an indescribable.
Annapurna Circuit Trek is moderate to a little strenuous trek and needs proper planning and preparation. As the trek is one of the longest treks of Nepal, you cover more than 100 kilometers (the trek can be anywhere between 100 kilometers to 160 kilometers depending upon trailhead and where you end the trek). Also, Thorung La Pass crossing day is pretty enduring as compared to other days of the trek.
So, you should be mentally and physically fit to do the trek. Although you do not need any technical knowledge, you should do some training and preparation before heading for Annapurna Circuit Trek. Jog, run, and exercise regularly for a few weeks. Also, it’s better to engage yourself in hikes or short treks before doing Annapurna Circuit Trek.
One of our representatives will greet you and pick you up from the Airport. He will transfer you to a nice hotel. You can refresh yourself and he will describe you about the trip and lets you know if you have missed any essential. You can then rest or explore the area.

Thorong La Pass, situated between Manang and Lower Mustang is the highest point of Annapurna Circuit Trek. Trekkers are full of emotions here. They feel they have successfully done the trek and now it’s all about descending from here. This is the highest that many trekkers ever reach in their entire life.
Trekkers are surprised that there is a tea house at Thorong La Pass. Every trekker feels so happy to get a warm cup of tea at such a high altitude and cold environment. Being my first trek, it started with lots of firsts, and Cholendra's HJA team made all the difference! Every kind, selfless, honest, loving gesture paved a profound, inner journey that was truly a mind-blowing experience. Coming from an environment of concrete jungle, the vast, powerful, raw nature was too overwhelming at times and couldn't have overcome the obstacles without Cholendra, Ramesh and their team's constant assistance and guidance. They were always making sure we're fine and extremely dependable. Having a team who would go the extra mile to keep you safe on a trek like this, indeed was the best insurance!!! I strongly recommend Cholendra and his team, and my next trip would definitely be with this A-team!
• personalised experience •fun and exciting activities arranged • affordable/cheap • best food • more than comfortable where supplies are limited • perfect for students and even middle aged trekkers • Cholendra and team are kind, generous and thoughtful • anyone who goes trekking with Himalayan Joy Adventure would be waiting for the next trip back to Tibet/Bhutan/Nepal with HJA #number1choice #trekwithHJA
Novice trekkers like me are always sceptical of testing unknown terrain in Nepal. The one hell of a mountainous country will leave persons like me, in the late fifties stranded breathless with increasing altitude accompanied with poor appetite and nausea. I joined 12 others. The thought of doing the Annapoorna Track from Darapani to Mukthinarh was made possible by the local promoter, The Himalayan Joy Adventure, led by an energetic young man Cholendra. With his team of guides and porters, Cholendra was meticulous from pre-trip arrangement to post trip departure. He displayed a commanding leadership with great confidence, systematic in every aspect, absolutely no hiccups, always relaying correct information and thus enabling our selves to assess and prepare for the terrain. He kind of created the spirit of adventure and endurance of the journey - a joy that enveloped our body and souls. In terms of pricing, I'm not sure, but all I can say is that I obtained the satisfaction that no more money can buy. I wish Cholendra and his team all the best.
A group of 13 were planning to do the Annapurna circuit and the entire duration of stay was so well organised. I was here with my family and had the most exciting wonderful time! The sceneries and trek leading up to Thorong Pass was ever so scenic - the best views i have seen! Food and accommodation were good too. Cholendra and his team (Ramesh and the porters) were always so kind, thoughtful and ever helpful. He ensured that every member of the team was taken care of throughout the duration including those who had to be airlifted for medical reasons. Some members of the team were struggling with their bags and the porters would make several to and fro trips to help them carry things and the team were ever so grateful. Throughout the trek he and his team were ever so motivating, shared their knowledge about the culture and the montains. I had a time of my life and would certainly recommend Cholendra and his team. And i am looking forward to trekking up Mt Mera next year!
My husband and I wanted to do a trekking around the Annapurna and Cholendra and his team arranged a perfect trek for 5 days to the Annapurna Panorama/Poon Hill. It was a beautiful trek through woodlands and the high peaks of Annapurna with gorgeous views. I myself got sick on the trekking unfortunately but Cholendra and Raj were really caring and helped me to get through the trekking. They had different options for the last days in difficulty and time durance which really helped me finish the trekking in a good and positive way. If we come back to Nepal we will definitely book a trip with this organisation (these guys) again!
ECO-FRIENDLY
Every day the world is facing a big issue of environmental pollution and in Nepal as well. Our field staffs are quite conscious about environmental pollution at any time and we encourage to all. We would suggest to our guest to use boiled water or water purification pills than buying a bottle of water, it helps to avoid plastic bottles which can take a long time to disappear. During the trek, if possible you can order same items food in a group which minimises the fuel used and to make the campfire is almost forbidden. We would encourage being a responsible traveller so, just leaving a footprint on the trail and bring out all non-biodegradables which you had.
