Himalayan Joy Adventure Pvt. Ltd. is a local based trekking agency in Nepal which is a registered company under the Nepal tourism board, Government of Nepal. Himalayan Joy Adventure is one of the trustworthy trekking, tours, and climbing organizer agency in Nepal.

Himalayan Joy Adventure kindly solicits you to read the terms and conditions before booking your trips as this section contains all legal and formal information to be followed in during your visit. When you submit your bookings you are confirming that you have read this “Terms and Conditions” section and agree to be bound within them.

About booking:

For Nepal and Tibet Trips:

During confirmation of your trip to Nepal and Tibet with Himalayan Joy Adventure, you need to pay 30% (non-refundable) advance as per our booking means along with a copy of your passport assessed. Remaining payment shall be made upon your arrival in Nepal before your trip start.

For Bhutan Trip:

 During confirmation of your trip to Bhutan with Himalayan Joy Adventure, 100% payment shall be made.

You can anytime amend your booking as per your requirement, necessity or interest. But, the extra cost involved in the process shall be in your responsibility.

Note: Copy of your passport is required to make reservations in flight, hotel rooms, trekking permit process and or required legal process as per your trip.

Cancellation Policy:

If you cancel your booking after you have paid or deposited full amount (100 %)  for booking, the following percentage will be deducted from your deposition as the charge for cancellation before refunding your deposition.

Cancellation by Clients:

1.Cancellation rules about Tour & Trekking 

  • If cancellation is made 60 days prior to the trip departure, only 75% of trip deposit will be refunded.
  • If cancellation is made 45 days prior to the trip departure, only 50% of trip deposit will be refunded.
  • If cancellation is made 30 days prior to the trip departure, only 40% of trip deposit will be refunded.
  • If cancellation is made 15 days prior to the trip departure, the trip deposit will be non-refundable. 

2. Cancellation rules about Peak Climbing in Nepal:

  1. If cancellation is made 60 days prior to the trip departure, only 15% of trip deposit will be deducted.
  2. If cancellation is made 45 days prior to the trip departure, only 25% of trip deposit will be deducted.
  3. If cancellation is made 30 days prior to the trip departure, only 50% of trip deposit will be deducted.
  4. If cancellation is made 15 days prior to the trip departure, 100% of trip deposit will be deducted due to the peak climbing permit already purchased, that cost is non-refundable.

3. Cancellation rules about Domestic Air Tickets

  • 20% of the total airfare will be charged if cancelation is made 30 days before the trip departure.
  • 30% of the total airfare will be charged if cancelation is made 15 days prior to the trip departure.
  • 70% of the total airfare will be charged if cancelation is made 7 days prior to the trip departure.

About Visa:

All clients must have a valid passport (at least 6 months beyond the last date of stay in Nepal).

You must have valid permit to stay in Nepal or make a trip with Himalayan Joy Adventure.

Note: Visa can be easily obtained in your country via, Nepalese Consulate (if any) or at the time of arrival in TIA or Nepalese boundary.

Insurance:

Insurance of trekking guide and trekking crew and or all involved staff is a full responsibility of Himalayan Joy Adventure office itself. But, that of trekker is a responsibility of trekker him/her self. Moreover, the trekker is liable to submit his/her insurance policy documents before leaving for the trip.

Acceptance of risk:

Some trip and treks are adventurous and bear a lot of risk in them. This includes minor injuries, damages and even death. In such a condition Himalayan Joy Adventure will help you in its fullest still any arising problems despite our hardship shall be in your responsibility.

Himalayan Joy Adventure heartily accepts all our clients’ complaints and suggestions. For any complaints,  you can contact our office as soon as possible so that we can omit it.
